Why we like it
- Connects through a 2.4 GHz USB receiver or a USB cable
- Reads QR codes, saving time and cutting errors when uploading inventory and assigning locations
- Scans codes straight off phone and computer screens
Keep in mind
- Settings are changed by scanning codes in the manual, which takes some trial and error
- Our battery stopped holding a charge after about six months, so we now keep the scanner connected to the computer by USB
How we use it
We use this scanner mainly when uploading inventory and assigning picking locations. Instead of manually typing each drawer location, we scan the QR code directly, which speeds up the process and helps reduce location-entry mistakes.
Since the battery stopped holding a charge after about six months, we now keep the scanner connected to the computer by USB at all times. It still works well for our setup, and being able to scan QR codes directly from a monitor or phone is useful throughout our inventory workflow.
