How we use it
The 18-drawer version has become our favorite cabinet and our go-to whenever we add more LEGO storage. All 18 drawers are medium-sized, which leaves much more room to grow than cabinets made up mostly of small drawers. A lot of LEGO lots start out fitting a small drawer, but over time we add more of that part until the drawer overflows, so most of our new storage now goes into these.
They also suit the way our storage aisles are set up. We stack them four cabinets high and put the stacks back to back; the cabinets sit together so neatly that we can build full aisles without shelving, and four stacked cabinets fit our basement height almost exactly. We still secure the stacks, especially near the top. At the start/end of a row we can place another cabinet across the start/end, and the dimensions line up surprisingly well.
The build quality is another reason we like them. The plastic feels solid and the drawers fit tighter than in most cabinets we’ve tried, so they don’t start sliding out when we move one. Every drawer comes with removable dividers, so we can split a drawer without buying extra dividers or 3D printing our own.
